Use - As soon as, No sooner….than, Hardly…when, Scarcely….when मित्रांनो आज आपण As soon as, No sooner… than, Hardly ….when त्याचप्रमाणे Scarcely.,.when यांचा उपयोग शिकणार आहोत चला तर मग. दिलेल्या वाक्यामध्ये As soon as चा उपयोग करताना पुढील नियमांचा उपयोग करावा. Rules:(नियम)- १) दिलेल्या दोन वाक्यातील प्रथम क्रिया दर्शवणारे वाक्य शोधावे. २) वाक्याच्या सुरुवातीस As soon as घेऊन त्यानंतर प्रथम क्रिया दर्शवणारे वाक्य लिहावे. ३) त्यानंतर स्वल्पविराम देऊन नंतर घडलेल्या क्रियेचे वाक्य लिहावे. ४) वाक्यात when, then, quickly, immediately after, at the same time, almost at the same time, at that time यासारखे कालदर्शक शब्द असल्यास ते काढावे. Examples 1) Tenali heard the problem and assured for solution. As soon as Tenali heard the problem, he assured for solution. 2) It got dark immediately after we left the place. As soon as it got dark, we left the place. 3) She noticed him and lost her temper. As soon as she noticed him, she lost her temper. 4) He started singing then the flock of birds entered into the hut. As soon as he started singing the flock of birds entered into the hut. 5) I was returning from school, I would playfully scare. As soon as I was returning from school, I would playfully scare. No sooner …..than चा वाक्यात उपयोग करताना पुढील नियमांचा उपयोग करावा Rules( नियम) - १) वाक्यामध्ये पहिले अव्यय As soon as असल्यास ते काढावे व त्या ठिकाणी No sooner लिहावे. २) No sooner नंतर प्रथम क्रिया दर्शवणाऱ्या वाक्यातील सहाय्यक क्रियापद लिहावे मात्र वाक्यात सहाय्यक क्रियापद नसेल तरच do, does किंवा did चा काळानुसार उपयोग करावा. दिलेल्या वाक्यात जर do /does किंवा did चा वापर केला तर अशा वाक्यात मुख्य क्रियापदाचे मूळ रूप वापरावे. ३) सहाय्यक क्रियापदानंदर वाक्यातील करता लिहावा. ४) कर्त्यानंतर क्रियापद व उर्वरित वाक्य लिहावे. ५) प्रथम वाक्यानंतर दोन्ही वाक्य than ने जोडावीत म्हणजेच than पुढे नंतर घडलेल्या क्रियेचे वाक्य लिहावे. Examples - As soon as the bus arrived, the passengers got in. No Sooner did the bus arrive than the passengers got in. As soon as he saw the tiger, he cried out. No Sooner did he see the tiger than he cried out. As soon as the teacher entered the class, the students stopped talking. No Sooner did the teacher enter the class than the students stopped talking. As soon as the joker fell down, all the spectators laughed loudly. No Sooner did the joker fall down then all the spectators laughed loudly As soon as the vacation was over, the boys were returning to school by train. No sooner was the vacation over than the boys were returning to school by train. Use - Hardly / Scarcely…….when Hardly/Scarcely……when चा वाक्यात उपयोग करताना पुढील नियमांचा उपयोग करावा. Rules (नियम)- १) वाक्याच्या सुरुवातीस As soon as किंवा No sooner सारखे शब्द असल्यास ते काढून त्याऐवजी hardly/ scarcely च उपयोग करावा 2) वाक्यात As soon as नसल्यास ज्या वाक्याची क्रिया प्रथम घडली आहे त्या वाक्याच्या सुरुवातीस Hardly/ Scarcely लिहावे. ३) हे वाक्य पूर्ण भूतकाळात लिहावयाचे असते म्हणून hardly नंतर to have चे भूतकाळी रूप had घेऊन त्यापुढे करता घ्यावा. 4) कर्त्यानंतर लगेच क्रियापदाचे तिसरे रूप लिहावे. ५) पहिले वाक्य संपल्यानंतर when लिहावे व नंतर पुढे घडलेल्या क्रियेचे वाक्य जसेच्या तसे लिहावे. वाक्यात जर वेळ दर्शवणारे शब्द असतील तर ते काढून टाकावे. उदाहरणार्थ - immediately, at that time, At most the same time etc. Examples - 1) As soon as I reached the class, I gave the letter to the teacher. Hardly had I reached the class when I gave the later to the teacher. 2) The doctor heard it and rushed out of the room. Hardly had the doctor heard it when she rushed out of the room. 3) As soon as I reached there, I saw a tiger. Hardly had I reached there when I saw a tiger. 4) The result was declared immediately, I ran home to meet my mother. Hardly had the result declared when I ran home to meet my mother. 5) Aasha noticed him and lost her temper. Hardly had Aasha noticed him when she lost her temper.
