Neither....nor (Lesson -6)

Use of neither ….nor ( हेही नाही, तेही नाही) Rules (नियम):- १) पहिल्या व दुसऱ्या वाक्यातील नकारात्मक शब्द no, not, do not, does not, did not) काढून टाकावे. २) did not काढले असल्यास क्रियापदाचे दुसरे रूप वापरावे. ३) does not काढले असल्यास क्रियापदाला ‘s’ किंवा ‘es’ प्रत्यय लावावा. ४) पहिल्या वाक्यातील कर्मापूर्वी neither वापरावे. ५) त्यामुळे कर्म लिहावे व nor लिहावे. ६) nor पुढे दुसऱ्या वाक्यातील फक्त कर्म लिहावे. ७) दोन वाक्यात दोन नावे असल्यास नवापूर्वी neither…nor वापरतात. ८) वाक्यात either असल्यास ते काढून टाकावे. eg. 1) He does not take tea. He does not take coffee. -He takes neither tea nor coffee. 2) She did not think of her own beauty. She did not think of the cold. -She thought neither of her own beauty nor of the cold. 3) Mohan does not know. Radha does not know. -Neither Mohan nor Radha knows. 4) These students will not read. These students will not write. -These students will neither read nor write. 5) He does not like oranges. He does not.like apples. -He likes neither oranges nor apples
