THE POT OF SUCCESS Arundhati, wife of sage Vashishtha, was a learned, intelligent and faithful to her husband. one day, the sun came to Vashishtha's 'ashram', alongwith Agni and Varuna. Arundhati was about to go to the river to Fetch water with a pot in her hand. She gave all of them 'asana' to sit upon and said, "please sit here for a while. I will come back in a moment." But the sun said,"mother! why you need to go to the river only for this? I will fill your pot with water by the power of mantras!" And the sun in fact filled the pot with water by chanting mantras however, the pot was not fully filled one-fourth of the pot remained empty. At last Arundhati Herself filled the the pot fully. she said, "Though, the divine share in any work is three-fourth to complete the remaining portion human efforts are necessary! And for that there is no other option than hard work! Moral - Human efforts are important for success.
